Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome Bambi !!
Beagle/chihuahua mix, born 10/17/21, female, 7lbs.
Bambi was hospitalized with a serious respiratory infection. Her previous owners stated she also had a seizure, but she didn’t have any at the vet clinic, or while in our care for the past few months. Her owners decided they didn’t want a dog that could possibly have seizures, so that’s how she ended up in our care. The vet thinks that maybe she Ingested a toxin, and that’s why the seizures didn’t continue. Unfortunately, whatever happened to her severely impaired her vision. Bambi is a sweetheart, and doesn’t let that stop her from enjoying life. Bambi loves to run, play, and quickly learns her boundaries. Being newly blind, she is very frightened to be picked up. She will squirm around confused. She does much better when swaddled while being held. We prefer Bambi go to a home that has experience with dogs that are visually impaired, or blind.
Bambi is current on vaccines, microchipped, and spay.
