Evan is a 3-year old, 21lb mixed breed dog with a serious case of PPF (Permanent Puppy Face). He and his brother were surrendered to us as “puppies” but turns out they were both just a very timid pair of adults. They were dumped and likely whoever originally had them didn’t spend much time with them so they are both really shy meeting new people. He likes other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog to show him the ropes. Evan is learning how to walk on the leash in his foster home, and tends to follow rather than to walk at your side. He follows his foster parents around the house, loves to nap, and is doing really well in the crate overnight. He is really improving with his housetraining and will most likely have it down in no time! Evan enjoys all kinds of toys, especially antlers and stuffed animals. Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!
The adoption fee is $600 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
