My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moose is a 4.5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of sweetness and loyalty. Once she feels comfortable, she blossoms into an affectionate and devoted companion who adores her people.

This gentle girl would thrive in a home with an outdoor space where she can potty and play in peace, away from the hustle and bustle of loud, high-traffic areas. Moose is still building her confidence outside and would benefit from a pro-social resident dog to guide her on walks and help her navigate her surroundings.

With patience, love, and the right environment, Moose will flourish as the loyal, loving companion she’s meant to be. If you’re ready to provide her with the gentle guidance and calm space she needs, Moose is ready to join your family and bring a world of love into your life. Meet her today!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
