Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hermosa!
Hermosa is a beautiful boa constrictor - a hypo salmon BCI to be very precise. Currently she is about 4 feet long, so still quite young, but will reach 12-14 feet in length once fully grown. She had been purchased from a reputable breeder and her owner had her for several years before he was no longer able to care for her. She likes time out of her bin and is quite curious; she loves to travel around the house with you and take a moment to explore things that capture her interest - windows, blankets, computer keyboard, your hoodie pocket, the AC vent blowing on her.... she finds some of the most random things to be fascinating.
Our reptiles quarantine for 30 days once they come to us. During her quarantine Hermosa shed and has two meals. It was a complete and very clean shed, no stuck shed afterward. While not substantial, she does have a feeding response and we began hook training during her quarantine period. She is removed from her enclosure to feed and has two small rats for each meal. She eats about every 18 days. It is the policy of Small Pet Safe House that reptiles are only fed frozen/thawed rodents. We can recommend several good suppliers if needed.
Hermosa would be good with older children. The adoption fee for boa constrictors is $90. Please contact us for the adoption application.
