This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need.
We are all volunteers.
We do know that Addy is a beautiful mix of beagle, shihtzu, terriers and unknowns. We do have pics.

Addy was living under a shed in the ice storms in Arkansas. The dad is a wandering beagle and mom was a mixed long hair beautiful fluffy terrier about 25 lbs. .with short legs. Pics are available.
Addy is playful and adorable. Addy will follow you everywhere and she attaches easily to you. Addy loves to be carried and rocked, but too much is not healthy for a dog, so you will have to resist that.
She loves being outside to play, so a fenced yard is a preference. She is learning she can bark and it is definitely a hound bark, please no condos. At the foster home she uses the dog door and hasn't had an accident in 2 weeks!.. She is a puppy!! What is there to say. We expect family to go to training classes.
OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss . The dog will be in Rhode Island on MAY 13 and we will set up the meeting for MAY 14. between 9-1PM, so if you are NOT available, DO NOT APPLY. We do require the entire family to be present. Once we set up our meeting we will take a $100. deposit 72 hours prior to meeting that is refundable if it is not the right dog upon meeting the dog.. IF you do NOT show up it is not refundable. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families. NO DEPOSITS FOR APPLICATIONS. DEPOSITS ONCE YOU PRE-COMMIT AND QUALIFY.
If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue.
Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do NOT save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
