My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Murray's estimated birthdate is June 2021. He is a returned adoption due to illness in family. They could no longer care for him. He is crate trained and housebroken. He walks well on leash if using a "gentle leader". He can be very strong but is compliant with this type collar. He is very friendly and enjoys attention. He loves going for walks/hikes. He gets along well with other non dominant dogs. He would do best in a home without cats. He would enjoy an active family.
All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy. If you are interested in Cooper, please contact Gail Posey at 678-361-7304 or email pspp_inc@yahoo.com.

More about this rescue

We are a 501c3 non-profit rescue. We mostly serve the residents of Polk County and the Polk County Animal Control Shelter. Evaluating the animals housed there and pulling those that are slated for euthanasia. We spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip prior to adoption.
We also organize and coordinate twice monthly transports from Cedartown to the West Georgia Spay/Neuter clinic giving residents in the area a low cost option for Spaying and Neutering of pets.
