Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rascal was found by a NYPD officer roaming the streets in Brooklyn.
He was malnourished and frail, and about to be sent to a high kill shelter when we answered the call. We saw wounds on his legs and scars - clear evidence of an abusive home - and immediately sent him to get emergency care.
After spending some time healing and in training, Rascal was able to overcome the trauma and anxieties from his past.
Today, Rascal is a playful and happy dog, ready to start his life with his new family. He is very curious about other dogs, but can sometimes get overwhelmed.
Rascal's best fit would be a home where he can be the only dog, with experienced pet parents who understand how to maintain a routine and training on a daily basis.
If you'd like to give Rascal his forever home, please send in an application today!
