My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Chloe! She's about 4 years old and landed herself in animal control when she was caught chasing cats. We pulled her from the shelter just in time! She is a stunning little girl with icy blue eyes. Chloe is a very intelligent dog. She is potty trained and crate trained. She is learning to “sit” as well as working on her leash manners. She is playful, energetic, friendly and gets along with small children and all people. Chloe needs to be exercised daily and with an active family. I have been intermittently running and walking with her for about 3.5 miles every day. She does have a high prey drive so a home with small animals or a farm setting will not be a good fit for her. She is currently being fed in her crate because she has shown to be very food aggressive towards the other dogs in her home. For this reason, she might be better suited for a home as the only animal. If she is introduced to another dog, she will get along with them until food is involved. A fence that is taller than 4 ft is probably going to be the best for Chloe. Perhaps a taller privacy fence where she cannot see “critters” on the other side. She truly has all the traits of the breed - active, inquisitive and food driven. Although, she is not very vocal. When she does “talk” it seems more of a rumbling growl than a howl or a bark here or there. She is current on vaccines but will be spayed prior to adoption.
