Do you like a little dog with some attitude? That's JT
JT is slightly leary of new people, but it doesn't take long for him to become attached. Once he does, he wants to be held. He was beaten by a broom
JY's attitude comes when someone tries to do something to him (like give him a vaccination).�Then, he'll give a little nip.
Obviously, he is not the type of personality to be around children or an active household. But if a single individual or couple were to spend a few�visits with him, we know he'll come around as he has with some of the animal caretakers here at Animals in Need USA

There is a $ adoption fee for most of our ANIMALS. The adoption fees we ask for does not come close to the medical expenses let alone the daily cost of taking care of the ANIMALS we hope to re-home. Additional expenses are out-of-pocket.
We are all volunteers; there are NO paid employees in our rescue. The adoption fee is used to help with veterinary care. All of the ANIMALS in our care are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, have dentals if needed, are up to date on all vaccines, are COMBO/HW tested and micro chipped, 12 mos h/w prevention and 1 additional application of frontline plus is included in adoption fee.. Any and all medical issues that our vets find or that arises while in foster care are treated.
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUR ANIMALS TO HOMES WITH UNALTERED PETS! NO EXCEPTIONS?
In order to adopt one of these wonderful ANIMALS you will be required to: email us with an phone # . Agree to a telephone/in-person screening. Fill out an adoption application, provide a veterinary reference & others , have one of our representatives conduct a home visit, complete and sign an adoption contract, and pay an adoption fee applied to a Vet clinic for a donation to help with medical expenses.. We look forward in working with you / Please visit us at Petco/Atlantic on Sat/sun for cats and various locations Petsmart/Rivercity on Sat/Sundays for dogs 2nd/4th weekend and 1st/3rd at Petco Marshlanding --for viewing of the animals. Animals are delivered to the home after completion of adoption procedures.
