My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charlie
Charlie is an 8 y/o big sweet handsome boy who takes some time to warm up but once he knows you, he will love you forever. He came to us as an owner surrender. His owner`s mother was having hospice care and he didn’t quite understand and would guard her, growling or even trying to nip at the nurses. He was surrendered to be euthanized. He chooses his people and will do best as an only dog in a very low traffic home. Charlie needs to trust and feel safe again in a home. At the facility he has done well with staff and volunteers but when being approached by a stranger he is not always welcoming. He is seeking a second chance to be someone’s loyal best friend again. Charlie was born in 2014 and is located at the rescue.

More about this rescue

We are a 501c organization that saves pets from high kill shelters, off the streets and also accept pets as owner surrenders so they do not have to step a foot in the shelters. We believe all animals deserve a good life and we strive to give them one! We give them any medical attention they may need, including spay/neuters, a microchip and vaccinations and find them a forever home.
