Sugar is as sweet as her name! This girl just wants to be with you and if she could manage it, sit on your lap. So far, she has been friendly to all people she meets. Sugar has been good with other respectful dogs. She has been out with puppies and been fine. Sugar is also highly food motivated. The shelter aged her at 4 years, about 55-60lbs and she appears to be a Heeler x Border Collie mix. She came to the shelter last early July 2021 with her presumed sister Spice that has previously been adopted. She is fearful of loud booming noises like fireworks and thunder. Sugar is now spayed, fully vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm, dewormed, on Bravecto & TriHeart, and microchipped. She is crate trained, leash trained and potty trained. Sugar is low to medium energy and would be happy to have a daily and be able to meander around the backyard.
Please no apartments, condos, or mobile home parks. A home check is required. Yolo County adopters preferred, but will consider other locations. If you are more than 100 miles away from Yolo County please be aware that there may be a small additional expense associated with travel cost.
No out of state adoptions. Adoption fees are non-negotiable.

*Vetting includes: Neuter/spay, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm test, flea preventative, heart worm preventative (including the remainder of their 6-month supply), and any other necessary vet care.
