Hi, my name is Ray and I am the happiest, visually impaired guy you ever would meet. I can to MVPC with some eye issues and heartworm positive. I made it through heartworm treatment and my eyes are much better. I am definitely visually impaired, but can still see some! I do, however, have dry eye in the one eye and require drops a few times a day. I am content with a comfy place to lay with a pile of stuffys next to me to destroy between naps. I enjoy car rides and walks but I do tire easily.
Being visually impaired, I will need time to adjust to a new house setup, but walk confidently once I become acclimated. I can do stairs once I get used to them.
I am a very friendly dog and do not mind having furry friends around but also couldn’t care less to play with them. I’m very nonchalant with introductions but my ears work fine and I will happily alert you when I hear something! I am overall a very sweet, older guy who is ready to enjoy retirement.
ADOPTION FEE: $200 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained)
I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $200 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me!

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
