Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Born in the wild and trapped as kitten, she was named Spice Drop because she was a very spicy (read wild) kitten; she would hiss and growl and spit and act fierce long after her brothers and sisters befriended their humans. Spice has come a long way and you could never tell now how wild she was as a baby. While she loves human attention and is comfortable being in the presence of people, her wild side is selective as to when and where she will accept loves, and from whom. Downstairs, she lets her foster dad love all over her, but when she goes upstairs, she becomes skittish and keeps her distance. Her foster mom, however, feels special any time she is able to sneak in a pet.
Spice is very curious and likes to watch her humans go about their daily tasks, especially while working in the kitchen, but will run if they get too close. If they can’t find her, they can generally find her under the couch, her favorite place to hide. Spice is a tree dweller and likes to survey her territory from the top of the tall cat tree. She does okay with gentle dogs who leave her alone, and enjoys playing with other cats. Older gentle kids would be okay, but little kids make a lot of noise that would send her scurrying under the couch. She LOVES to watch cat TV, and will need a safe outside space in the summer to investigate all the things she sees on TV.
