Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Carolina Daisy is a sweet and energetic 11–12-week-old pup and weighs approximately 20lbs. Daisy is a double merle, which mean she is the product of 2 merle coat Aussies that were bred together. Because of this, Daisy is deaf and vision impaired. This doesn’t stop her from acting like a normal puppy! She has already learned hand and tap signals to look, come, sit, and is doing well with crate, leash, and house training. She is very sensitive to bright light and will need to be trained to wear Rex Specs or Doggles if outside for extended periods of time. She sees well inside and plays and acts like a normal puppy with her 5 foster brothers.
Daisy would thrive in a home with a patient and playful K-9 sibling; however, this is not a requirement for adoption. Daisy is an active girl and will benefit from regular activities and exercise. With her eagerness to learn, she could be considered for obedience training or agility! Her new owners will need to continue her training with hand and tap signals.
She is currently living with 10- and 12-year-old humans who handle her often. Daisy is being fostered in Wilmington, NC.
