My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Griffin, the biggest, sweetest 70lb, 1 year old teddy-bear-of-a-dog that loves to give hugs and kisses.

You'll see Griffin with a big smile and a happy-go-lucky stride, bouncing with each step, because he's just so darn joyful all the time. He loves playing with dog friends and people, always being the submissive type--he also likes cats. He MUST have a dog friend in his next home. He literally will play all day with his dog pals and he is the most confident following the lead of another dog. He's great at sharing even his favorite toys and oh gosh does he love water--he will go crazy in a kiddie pool and happily trail in mud (though strangely dislikes baths).

Griffin is very young and soaking up so much knowledge. He can sit, shake, fetch, stay, and come whenever you need him. Whatever you want to teach Griffin, he'll be happy to learn!

He does need a little work with getting overexcited on a leash, jumping up and can be mouthy when he plays. He is just a big puppy!

Griffin is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and housebroken.

Being so fluffy, Griffin's coat will stay so soft and smooth from regular brushing or grooming--which will also help all that undercoat shedding. He also likes to jump up to say hello, so he may accidentally knock over toddlers or small children. Despite loving other pups, Griffin's sheer size is a problem when playing with small dogs, so hardy friends are his best playmates.

An active house where Griffin can grow and experience so much more is the best home for him. He would love to see the world and go on adventures. But, if you take him in a car, he'll need a friend to hold him tight because cars are super scary, bumpy things!

It has been such a delight caring for Griffin and we hope he brightens up your life as he has with ours. If you'd like to meet this big puppy, submit an application on our website at www.dominoeffectanimalrescue.org
