My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Hope was in a loving home in Mexico. She was very cared for and loved, but was had not been spayed. She gave birth to five puppies and soon after her person had to move into assisted living. He put out a plea asking for help; his dogs were his family. The Ranch Chapala Rescue in Mexico stepped up to help Hope and her babies. Hope was placed in a Ranch Chapala foster home with an expat family.

Hope's personality reflects the love and care she has always known. She is gentle and sweet. Even though she is just over a year old, she was a wonderful momma to her babies, but now it's her time to find a forever home. Underdog has offered to bring her up to the Portland metro area and give her a new beginning.  

Hope will be arriving in Portland the evening of Wednesday, March 2nd. She is available for foster-to-adopt.  If you are interested in fostering-to-adopt, you’ll need to complete an Underdog Adoption Application. An online application can only be accessed online at https://underdogsrock.org/adoption-application 

If approved to foster-to-adopt you will have up to 2 weeks to decide if it is a love match. If it is, an adoption proceeds. If not a love match, you continue fostering until the right match is found. All a dog’s needs and supplies are provided for by Underdog while a dog is in a foster status.

Hope is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on preventatives and vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $380
