My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HISTORY: Walnut (aka Wally) is a small, adorable puppy who just came to our shelter. Walnut is a light brown/white MALE with big floppy ears. He is a loving and curious little boy who appreciates snuggles and enjoys playing with other small dogs. We think Walnut may be a Shepard / Shiba Inu mix.

FOSTER UPDATE: Wally is constantly bouncing about with puppy energy and affection. He loves to play tug-of-war and wrestle with both his canine and human companions. Within 24 hours with his foster family this smart little guy figured out how to use a dog door and house-trained himself. He's started teething, and so far he's focused his chewing energy on dog toys and any sticks or pine cones he can smuggle into the house. Wally's training is going well: he sleeps in his crate, responds to his name and comes when called (when not too distracted). He likes to be around people and still gets anxious when he is left alone in a room without one of his human companions. Wally gets on great with other small dogs, but he has some anxiety around bigger dogs on walks. At first he would bark at strangers too, but now he's accepting of most people who pass on the street.

DOG ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: All basic vaccines including rabies, flea/tick treatment, spay/neuter and microchip!
