Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mas (pronounced Moss) is a 2 year old Bullmastiff mix. He is a large, teddy bear of a dog who wants nothing more to be loved. He is a beautiful rusty red color with big brown eyes. He was surrendered because his owners lived in an apartment that could not accomodate a dog of his size, so they made the difficult decision to find him another home. Mas has previously lived with a cat (Duke, who is also available for adoption) and a dog and did well. He has previously lived with men, women and children and did well with all. He is housetrained and used to being bathed, having his nails trimmed and being brushed. His previous owner describes him as playful, affectionate, friendly and obedient. He knows the commands "sit", "down", and "stay".
Mas has a bad hip that we will be getting checked out by our vet when he is neutered. He had been taking glucosamine to reduce his joint pain. Update: The vet removed a mass from his shoulder and Mas is now healing and doing well.
Mas may look like a big bruiser but he is as soft and sensitive as they come! His favorite toy is a big stuffed puppy that he will curl up and sleep with. Mas would love a family to call his own. He is currently in a foster home and doing well there. Please call today to give this gentle giant a home!
Our dog adoption fee is $150 which includes spay/neuter, shot, rabies shot and microchip. Puppies that are not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption will require a $300 refundable (upon proof of surgery being presented to MLDHS) spay/neuter deposit. For online adoption application and/or more details on adopting this pet or if you'd like to see other animals we have available for adoption - check out our main petfinder page at
