My name is LADY! Allow me to share a bit about myself. I'm a 5-year-old, 16 lb, tan dachshund mix. I want all the attention in the world, and I love lap time! I would love to stay by you and my other half, Harley. I also love food, treats, and going outside! I love being around people and giving them lots of love. I am scared of storms and like to have a nice dark place to hide during them. I will lick you all over so you feel extra loved! I need to find a home that will allow my best friend, Harley, to come along and accept and treat his special needs. He has a grade three heart murmur and he is hard of hearing. He will need to go to the vet for regular checkups and will be on medication for life. I like other dogs but haven't been around cats. The Ark has a cage-free cat room, so they can test me with cats if needed. My previous owner could not keep me any longer due to her schedule. I am house and crate trained. I have received comprehensive vetting: Veterinary Physical and Dental examinations; five dental extractions, dental cleaning, Veterinarian administered vaccinations, fecal analysis, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and I was previously spayed. I have an adoption fee of $150 to help offset vetting costs. Hope to see you soon!

As website volunteers do not have access to the appt schedule call the number provided. We require TWO full visits, though we will ask for more as needed. Visits will be thirty minutes to an hour each. We do not adopt 2 hours outside of our area. ***
