This kitty has quite a story to tell! Dolly's Legacy received an urgent request for help from a tractor supply distribution center after a report of a kitty running out of a tractor-trailer but they weren't sure which one or where it had traveled from. It could have come from any part of the country. Jane was quite traumatized by her accidental adventure after stowing away in a tractor-trailer. Since she was not microchipped, we were unable to determine where she had come from. She likely had not lived inside before coming to Dolly's Legacy. However, she has adapted to the kitty indoor life of luxury just fine! She is going to need a calm, quiet, and patient home that understands she will need extra time to adjust to new people and new surroundings. We recommend an experienced kitty owner and no kids as she still startles easily. She has done very well with the other kitties in her foster home. We are grateful to everyone who jumped into action to get Jane safe and now hope to find her the place she is meant to be forever!
Jane Deere is a female tiger-striped Tabby who was born approximately 3-12-21. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and dewormed. Adoption fee is $50 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
