My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purrcie (7 yrs old as of 12/6/21) either likes you or she doesn't from the first time she meets you, but mostly prefers the company of men. If she likes you she will jump on your lap and let you pet her and brush her. If she doesn't like you she won't let you pet her and will swat at you (if you leave her alone, she will leave you alone). She will make someone whom she likes a great pet. She loves to play with string toys and is so cute when she gets into play pounce mode. She gets along well with other cats.   Miss Purrcie will need to be sedated for vet visits and when cutting her nails, experienced cat people only need apply!

More about this rescue

Mission Statement: The Cat Network is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c) (3), no-kill and life-enhancing cat rescue group. Since 1991, we have rescued and placed thousands of abandoned, abused, stray and shelter cats and kittens in St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas. After their rescue, the cats and kittens are provided medical care, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. Cats and kittens are kept in foster care and then placed in loving permanent homes whenever possible.
