Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Simba is the sweetest, most cuddly and loving dog I have ever known. He was adopted as a puppy and has been in our family for 7 years. He’s a family dog who is great with small children and cats. If you are bringing Simba into an environment with other animals, take it slow by allowing them to meet while Simba is in a cage or on the other side of a baby gate. He can come off strong with other animals because of his excitement, which can trigger a negative reaction in other pets. But overall, he is very friendly dog who will run up to anyone. He knows commands like “sit”, “lay” (accompanied with a down hand gesture”, and“cage”. If the leash is easily accessible, you can say “leash” and Simba will fetch it to go for a walk. Simba is house trained and enjoys the outdoors and warm bags. He pulls on the leash and a harness is best to protect his back because dachshunds tend to have back problems later in life. But Simba is in great health with no issues
