My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Adoption Pending*** Oh my Lawsy, these eyes!! Cici is a PEACH! She comes to us after her owner died, and the family dropped her off at animal control- sad situation, but guess what... Cici is better off for it. She is sweeter than cane sugar and has not one unkind bone in her body. We are having her vetting seen to, and is feeling better by the day. Once she's at her best, she'll have a dental done. She's friendly with the other dogs at her foster home and has lovely manners.
Cici would be a great fit for a quiet home looking for a sweet and relaxed companion.
As we get to know her better, we'll post more on her progress.

If you are interested in adopting Cici, you can fill out an application right on our website! Go to our online adoption application. Cici's adoption fee is $350. All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. Cici will go to her new home microchipped, spayed, heartworm tested, up to date on vaccinations, and with all other medical needs addressed. Almost every dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees- including Cici's.

DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group. We focus on the metro Atlanta area and can assist throughout the state of Georgia. Since our rescue is entirely run and staffed by volunteers, our ability to travel long distances for adoptions is somewhat limited. We focus on Georgia, but if you’re in a neighboring state, we might be able to work something out - we’ll expect you to do your part. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxie's back.
