My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful, young, about 8 months old, male, orange kitty was surrendered to a rural North Carolina Shelter where his prospects of finding an amazing family before the shelter became too full, was very low.  Freedom Pets pulled this beauty, along with two other kitties and brought them to Ohio.   Garbanzo is a loving, affectionate, beauty.  He loves his crate-mate and would likely love to be in a home with another feline, or even his crate-mate.  Garbanzo dreams while he purrs, of a loving, amazing forever family.  His forever family will give him a few weeks, in a safe room, to acclimate and de-compress into his new environment, keep him strictly indoors with plenty of human engagement and feline enrichment, take him to the vet at least annually for a wellness exam, staying up to date on vaccinations and regular wellness testing, as recommended by your vet and of course any sick care required.  His amazing family will only feed him a high quality food and make a lifetime commitment to him and his care.  His new family will never consider de-clawing this amazing kitty and keep his nails trimmed as needed (can be done by his family, a groomer or the vet office).  His new home will have plenty of cat scratchers, a kitty condo or two, kitty beds/houses to snuggle in and run of the house, with human beds to sleep in after his safe room time.  Garbanzo is being show cased at the Pet Supplies Plus Pet Store in Streetsboro, Ohio.  Please visit him and if interested in possibly adopting this beautiful boy, please fill out a hard copy application or request a digital copy of our application at our email address:  rescue1.fp@gmail.com.
