My name is Darby!

This is Darby,
She is as much a part of our family as our children. We found her after she had been hit by a car. Her pelvis was broken, she was emaciated, and she had just had puppies. We looked for days for them and never found them. She is the most loving, calm, wonderful soul. She is almost a truly perfect dog. I am forced to rehome her because she is extreemly protective of us and went into our neighbors yard and bit thier 7 year old lab. They have involved the police and we are being forced to either euthanize her or find her a new home. I cant even explain how painful this is, she is bonded to me like a child as I spent a lot of time with her durring her healing. We are guessing she is about 3 to 5 years old. She has escape artist tendencies so a solid fence is a must. She also has had sever trauma on a leash at some point as she is petrified them along with car rides. She prefers women, but has never shown aggression with a man either. There's so much more but I'm out of words
