My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Momma Rosie and her daughter Katie are adorable and talkative mom and daughter crested guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian together.
Rosie and Katie were found abandoned in an apartment when a crew came in to work at the building. Rosie is about a year old; Katie is about six months old and just as big!
The girls were brought to Friends of Petraits Rescue to find a home. They are shy, but happy and healthy, and best of all - they love each other. They eat unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, share two cups of fresh salad each day and a ¼ cup of pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, or some of their dark leafy greens.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/
They would love a home with people who will love them, handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Rosie and Katie, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $75, we’ll include a kit of everything you need to care for them including their habitat, pellets, hay, hidey hut, and water bottle.
They are being fostered in Chicago.
