My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yeti is a shy but friendly syrian hamster. He is the softest, fluffiest, and most gentle little man. Like all hamsters Yeti keeps late hours, typically waking up around midnight and going back to bed around 5 or 6 in the morning. He goes a little stir crazy in smaller enclosures but once he moved into his current 1100 square inch enclosure with 10 inches of bedding he became a VERY happy boy. He definitely loves his space. He is a bigger boy after all with quite a lot of poofy floof.

His favorite foods are lettuce, cheese, cucumbers, carrots, and strawberries. Foods he dislikes are mealworms, cilantro, and kale. Hamsters at our rescue are fed Higgins Sunburst seed mix and Mazuri Rat and Mouse Lab Blocks in addition to daily fresh foods and proteins.

Yeti's exact age is unknown but he is an adult hamster. He was rescued on 11/26/2021.

He is known to be extremely good with children, if timid and shy. Like all hamsters, Yeti is solitary.
