My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Angel, a very sweet 12 year-old spayed female. I was taken in by SBR when my family couldn’t care for me anymore. They thought I might have some basset hound in me but that is questionable. Regardless, I am an awesome dog. I weigh a mere 50 lbs. but my foster mom thinks I need to lose a few. I’m potty-trained and I know how to use a doggie door. I love to be outside and will just relax by myself in the afternoon sun. I am easy to train especially when I get food rewards. I already know how to sit and I understand the word “no”. I just may not always listen when I hear it. My favorite is to cuddle and be near my foster mom. I love to sleep in bed and I like to get under the covers for warmth. I may snore a bit but my foster mom thinks it’s adorable. I get along well with my 3 foster brothers and I’m not afraid to put them in their place if necessary. I’m not much for playing with toys but I do get bursts of energy and run around with the zoomies. I’m not “cat tested” but I do like to chase squirrels. In my previous home before now I did live with kids and I don’t mind them but I’d prefer older kids. I’m just very laid back and low maintenance. My foster mom says I’m just a doll and anyone would surely fall in love with me. If I sound like I could be part of your family please fill out an adoption applications for Angel.
