My story

Nomad has had quite the life over the last 10 years leading up to his recent journey to Northern Virginia. This handsome fella was very well loved in his home in Kabul until his dad, along with countless others, fled Afghanistan this past summer. His dad loved him and got him to safety with Kabul Small Animal Rescue where he was well taken care of until Mission Possible evacuated Nomad and 300 friends to Vancouver. To say this boy is special would be insufficient. It's hard to sum up his personality but we'll try - what a lover boy?!?! Nomad loves to be held, to sit on your lap, be pet and his dad tells us he slept in bed with him every night. Nomad likes to chat and is a talkative boy in his foster home. As he's been making himself comfortable in the US, we addressed some dental issues and Nomad had several teeth removed so he's feeling much better. We also learned he is FIV+ but currently has healthy bloodwork. This just means he could have less immunity than a kitty without FIV but can still live a long life. We'd be happy to talk to any interested adopter about Nomad to determine if he's a good fit for your family. We are determined to find him the best possible home so he never has to go through stressful times again.
