If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My husband has had Bruce since he was a puppy- he was adopted from the pound. My husband and I got married a little less than 6 months ago and with that came a combination of 5 kids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. Unfortunately it is all just too much to handle and my poor dogs are getting the short stick of it all. There are some also some personal health issues involved as well. I would love to see all three go to a new home together, but that is not required.
Bruce is a pit mix, and is extremely dorky. He is lazy, a little overweight, and the happiest boy. He really likes belly rubs and (short) walks. He does like to chase squirrels in the back yard.
Bruce could use some help loosing a little weight (he likes to steal the other dogs and cats foods here). He also has a benign tumor on his stomach (lipoma).
