Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My husband has had Bane for several years- he was a stray previously and was adopted from the pound. My husband and I got married a little less than 6 months ago and with that came a combination of 5 kids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. Unfortunately it is all just too much to handle and my poor dogs are getting the short stick of it all. There are some also some personal health issues involved as well. I would love to see all three go to a new home together, but that is not required.
Bane has been to doggy training school in the best and is very well behaved. He knows sit, lay, watch me, come, and speak. He is completely house trained and he used to be crate trained (we ran out of room for a crate but I don't think he would have a problem getting back to that).
Bane has a spinal injury- traumatic IMDD. He jumped off our deck last year and it caused a bulging disc. He was paralyzed at first but has been doing great now, and is able to use stairs and (almost) run.
