My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rocko! Where do we start with this guy? When we first met him, we were truly blown away by not only his striking appearance, but by also how well behaved he is.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Rocko had to ultimately be surrendered by his owner. He is currently staying with a local family until we can find his forever home.
Rocko was born on 1/31/21. His mother was a full-bred boxer and his dad was a mix of American Staffordshire Terrier and Lab.
Rocko currently weighs about 75 lbs but is a gentle giant. While he loves playing tug-of-war with his favorite rope toy, he also enjoys belly scratches and receiving lots of love from humans. While we were visiting with Rocko, he even decided to sit on one of us for the closeness of human touch.
Rocko is current on all of his vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is recently neutered. He is crate trained, house trained, walks well on a leash and also knows basic commands. Rocko shows no aggression whatsoever in regards to food, treats or toys. While he is excited and happy to interact and play with other dogs, we are unsure of how he would respond to cats.
Due to Rocko's large size, we will not be adopting him out to families with children under the age of 6.
