Dempsey is a 4 year old terrier mix searching for a foster or forever home. A unique little man, with his brindle coloring. He likes to lay on the cabin porch and sun during his run/outside time. Dempsey is crate trained and working on his house training and doing well with a little consistency and creating a schedule. Dempsey must be an only dog and gets along well with children aged 10 and over. Give him a little time and he will become your best friend and will give you and your family years of loving companionship. Home Check

We conduct a home check for every potential adoption, ensuring a safe environment. Homes MUST have a physical secured fenced in yard.

3.
Approve Application

We take special care to match the right home with the right pet, ensuring a lifetime of love for both the pet and the adopter.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Fees are $200 per pet, which pays for up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, deworming and heart worm prevention and microchip.
Applicants are required to sign a contract.

"MATCHING PETS WITH PEOPLE". ARF is a small, but very active group of volunteers in south Louisiana who are saving, vetting and caring for dogs rescued from the streets, the pounds, the hurricanes and from owner surrenders. We screen applicants and do home visits to be sure we are matching our pets with the right people!
