Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ellie is a 9 year old with lots of play left in her
She was left at the shelter to be euthanized as a product of a divorce
She was in a kennel/outside run all the time as far as we can tell. Wife said she overwhelmed her 8 and 14 year old. But I think she just wanted attention after being shut up with no interaction.
She just wants to please
She is housebroken but her cues are very subtle so it’s a learning process. She has messed in the house only once
She is very quiet… she will bark at strangers
She doesn’t seem to be fond of people in uniform for example the fed ex guy but she does take her cues from the other dogs and the ups guy is AOK!
Her pray drive is VERY strong. I’m quite sure she would kill my indoor cat given the chance. My cat is a good hider!
She is VERY interested in the chickens. I’m sure she would kill them given the chance
She does not seem interested in the cows
She learned the e collar/invisible fence within a day or two and is quite respectful of the boundaries
She is a little unsure about swimming
Don and I think she may have been used for upland bird hunting only (husband only used her for hunting)
She is super sweet and just wants to please and be loved
Manners are a little weak but we are working on those.
