My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If Joey lived in California, he’d be the cool surfer dude’s cat. He is that hip. He leaps in a chair or on a couch and is the picture of chill. A handsome tabby with striking markings around his neck that are so cool, they just might be puka shells.

Joey is a sweet ankle-rubber and a charmer; he talks up a storm and has several meows for the proper occasion. He is likely the baby daddy of many of the kittens trapped with their mamas in a South Fort Worth feral colony. No other adult males came to feed when the caregiver rang the bell for dinner…she really did ring a bell and all the mamas and older kittens came running and Joey would saunter in late. Joey has a right ear that is slightly mangled from all his fights with unseen suitors for the little mama kitties, and his left ear was tipped when he was neutered when we didn’t think he could be an indoor cat. But he prefers to be indoors and adored.

More about this rescue

Meowtown Animal Rescue of Fort Worth rescues cats and kittens from local Fort Worth neighborhoods. We foster all of our animals in our homes, we do not have a physical location. All of our cats/kittens are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, socialized and loved in their foster homes and then adopted out to their furever homes.
