MEET CLANCY
North New Jersey

This little guy is a 10 yo. 16 lb. red Pekingese that was surrendered due to his daddy’s failing health. Clancy was loved and well cared for most of his life. He is a typical Pekingese with lots of Pekatude and is aloof most of the time. He LOVES meeting new people and will slobber you to death. He loves going for car rides and walks. He also loves playing with toys and chasing after them in the yard. He has been living with other small breed pups in his foster home and he doesn’t really have interest in them.

Clancy is UTD, neutered, HW negative, dewormed, housebroken, and he had a dental with four extractions. Clancy had a rough time losing his people and home and was extremely anxious upon arrival. Given his anxiety he is currently taking Trazodone and Reconcile which should be continued in his new home until he is settled (6 months+). Once settled, he can be weaned off to see if he still needs them. He was not on meds in his former home. The Trazodone costs $5 per month on Chewy and the Reconcile costs $25 per month on Chewy.

PLEASE no phone calls and PLEASE give your vet office permission to speak with rescues if you are applying to adopt from any rescue. Ask them to mark your file. If they will not speak with me I will move on to the next application.

We consider out of area adoptions on a case-by-case basis. All meet & greets and adoptions are held in north New Jersey and we do not transport our pups. You must come to NJ.
