My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little FRANKIE is a 5-year-old, 22 pound, miniature poodle mix. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and heartworm negative (he is on prevention). Frankie love car rides, walks (up to 3 or 4 miles!), playing fetch with his toys, watching out the front window, camping, and WOMEN. (He will do fine with a couple, but it will likely take him awhile to bond with a man.) He is a sweetie pie, though he can be somewhat anxious, so he needs a quiet home with mature, active owners who are able to be in charge. (His reaction when stressed is to growl, and he has nipped a couple of times, but has never actually bitten anybody.) He is very food-driven, so treats work to distract him if he is upset; he has guarding tendencies that are predictable and easily managed. No children. Frankie knows sit and stay, and has good recall. He sleeps in his own bed. He is used to being an only dog.
