Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Churchill is part of a litter of 6 that has been in the rescue since they were just days old. They were born under a shed but just a few days later, their Mama disappeared. Two of their siblings had passed away from the elements. The home owners heard their cries and called us for help. Two volunteers went that night to pick them up and introduce the puppies to a lactating Mama that had been dumped without puppies. The Mama adopted them and they’ve been the sweetest family but now their all ready to find their furever families.
Churchill is the puppy to know in this litter. He’s the friendliest, most outgoing, and has the sweetest disposition. He’s around 8 weeks (as of 4/1) and will be a medium sized pup. He has a shorter Lab like coat but it’s surprising soft.
This handsome boy has such a playful personality. He loves the zoomies and when he gets in trouble, he zoomies away from whatever he knows he isn’t supposed to be doing. Tongue flapping, ears in the wind, and full snorts! He is so precious. He also has his moments of zen where he just sits on the people chairs and surveys his siblings.
Churchill is learning his manners and working on house + crate training but he’s not quite old/big enough to hold it overnight. He’s doing amazingly well on a schedule so keeping a routine will be key to getting him all the way there. You can see how smart he is too. He’s learning to not chew the leash, is a sit champion, and is also trying his paw doing “look at me” and “leave it”. Unfortunately “leave it” results in him zooming away 😂 and while he’s working on “wait”, he’s so people motivated that it’s taking a little extra time. The good news os he LOVES treats and toys so he’s easily motivated.
Churchill will make the perfect addition to the right home and we’re wondering if it could be yours. He is a bit more of a talker so a house would be better than an apartment for him. He’s also love another 4 legged friend (not required), or a fenced in yard so he can explore and zoomie to his heart’s content.
