Guiness is a 2-year-old neutered, tan and black German Shepherd mix who weighs about 73 lbs. Gentleman Guiness is looking to get out of the shelter and into his "furever" home today--he has had enough of shelter life! This handsome, calm, patient boy adores people--he turns on the affection as soon as he knows you--lovingly glancing at you with those big, soulful eyes, staying right by your side while walking with you, and letting you know without saying anything that you are his whole world. He has fabulous leash manners (easy to leash, and hardly pulls while walking), so walking him can be pure joy.
Guiness is happy to get his exercise by calmly strolling and exploring the grounds with his person, or by chasing balls and toys around the play yards. After his workout, he wants nothing more than to sit and listen to his person talk about any subject in the world; he just loves the sound of a calm human voice. Guiness takes treats gently, knows basic commands, and appears to be very housetrained. Guiness would love a home where he is part of the family and gets lots of attention from his humans all day long.
