Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This cat is quite a character. He has been through a lot with us. He arrived with his siblings and mom when he was just a few days old. He was a pretty shy kitten originally but eventually got adopted and really came out of his shell. After his adopter sadly had to return him due to housing issues, Grayson became sick and was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). After undergoing the intensive 3 month treatment followed by a 3 month observation period, Grayson is now considered CURED and is very healthy.
Despite all he has been through, Grayson is possibly the most energetic, fun loving cat you will ever meet. This boy has endless energy and will need a lot of stimulation to keep him happy. Another cat (or playful dog) in the home would be best unless the family will be able to dedicate a lot of playtime each day. Grayson can definitely be a trouble maker, especially when he is bored. He has been known to chew through phone cords and other items when he lacks activity. His new family will need to really commit to keeping him stimulated and safe!
Grayson is also a huge food monger! His favorite time of day is meal time and he will let you know it. Because of this, he is very easy to train. His foster mom has been working on teaching him commands like "come" and "sit" and "high five." He is very smart and very food motivated and these games give him good mental stimulation. He also loves to play fetch!
Grayson gets along with just about every animal and every person he meets. He is shy with new people at first but warms up quickly one on one. This boy is so special and deserves a loving home where he can be his crazy, happy self. As far as his health, Grayson has no lasting effects of his illness and should not require any special care, but we would be happy to discuss it more in detail with you.
