Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sweetie!
Hi there, my name is Sweetie! Sometimes my Foster dad calls me "short stack" because I'm real little, weighing only 15 pounds as a senior, but honestly I'm still learning to come to Sweetie. I have spent my whole life without a real name (sassy on paper, but I never knew it.) If ya meet me you'll agree, Sweetie fits me SO much better.
Since I have been rescued my world has totally changed, and I am just trying to learn and be apart of it. Lets start with this whole "POTTY" thing.. Outside? Who knew? I am learning though, and my foster sister has been showing me the ropes. Full disclosure, I still have an occasional accident, mainly #2s but I am pretty much hitting the pee pads. It is a good idea to keep an eye on me, but I really do pretty well on a schedule. Being on a leash is super new to me, as I have always been in a cage, and I have gotten to be okay with it, but will need some patience when taking walks. I am super duper curious, and I tend to want to go in 15 directions at once. As long as we are discussing my curiousness, I have a mild chewing fetish. Luckily my foster brother shared his chewing bone with me, then my foster mom got me one more my size, you know, a little smaller since he's a big dog, with a big bone. I love being part of a pack! Currently I have 3 foster dog-siblings and 3 foster cat-siblings and we all get along great. I love the companionship and group cuddles. Needless to say, I would be super happy to have other dogs to hang with, and play with!
Food wise, T-r-e-a-t-s!! Ok, maybe not all the time, but since I never had them until I came to my foster home, I've found I really like them! I do like my kibble mixed with a little dab of pumpkin, it's good for me! I love to cuddle and be close, I have never had alot of affection, and am like a sponge if you show me any. If you are looking for a pup that will be super excited to see you when you get home and turn that time into a real party, I'm your gal! I will be your biggest fan, and as such won't want to be away from you. Are you ready for your very own cheerleader?
