“Schrödinger ‘s cat” is a famous physics thought-experiment in which the status of a (hypothetical) cat as alive or dead is unknown until observed.
Schrödinger, is a very experimental cat who feels especially compelled, upon discovering a sleeping sibling, to test whether they are indeed just sleeping, by poking them until they exhibit signs of life, at which point, having resolved his curiosity, he can move on.
Schrödinger has strong ties to holidays. He was almost certainly conceived on Halloween when his mother escaped the house, and he was born on New Year’s Day.
He is well socialized, both with litter mates, and with older cats. He has never met a dog, but siblings have been adopted by families with a dog without any issues. Schrödinger enjoys being held by humans. He is not a picky eater. He does love playing and sleeping with other cats, so consider adopting a friend as well, if you don’t have other pets.
