My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxy, Female, German Shepherd X, 7.5 years old, 54 lbs.

Roxy is an adorable mix of Shepherd and Collie with a few other surprises thrown in. She is about 7.5 years old and has a very sweet temperament.

Roxy gets along well with EVERYBODY… with other dogs, kids and cats. She loves walks, car rides and ESPECIALLY chasing balls.

She knows the basics, but stay and come are often as she sees fit. If there is a particularly strong beckoning smell Roxy will not have ears for you until she is done investigating but she will ultimately always come.

In her country foster home Roxy has been very reliable off leash, preferring to stay close to home and her people. On the leash she tends to lunge at anything that catches her attention. A gentle leader halter has been very effective, and then she is a perfect lady when she walks.

Roxy is loyal and sensitive to humans and almost seems like she can speak to you with her eyes. She does get excited when guests come and jumps up and down in front of them. She will let you know if she thinks there is something outside you need to know about.

She is looking for a family that will give her lots of walks and lots of room to roam… and she will totally reward you with her love, loyalty and affection.

The adoption fee for Roxy is $500.00. She has been spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations are up to date.
