My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Marbles! I’m a happy, active 3-year-old brindle boy, named for the marbling in my gorgeous coat!

I was stuck at the shelter for several months. Volunteer Brian noticed how well-behaved I was, and became worried that the shelter was going to euthanize me. To keep me safe, he adopted me and then called the nice people at Outta the Cage.

Brian told them all about me. That I’m a great medium size, healthy, and playful with other dogs my size. That I’m easy to train and great in the house. That his entire family (wife and two teenaged boys) loved me.

Outta the Cage rescued me! I’m now staying with my trainer, Eleanor. We’re working on my leash manners, but honestly, I’m a really nice dog and ready for my forever family. I’m house trained, crate trained, and love learning new things. I always have a smile on my face. I’m good with dogs my size and older kids (no little kiddos, ‘cuz I can knock’ em down when I get the zoomies).
