Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Koda is a lovable dog and has been through both obedience and reactive dog training. But he is reactive meaning his barks and panics and strangers and anything foreign to his environment. At home he follows commands does well with our other dogs and cats and is quite lovable. But if someone rings a door bell etc he melts down. He has been prescribed Prozac and calming powder by the vet and it helps but we are told he will always be reactive. He likes to cuddle and watch tv, loves his kiddie pool and playing in the yard. He has never been around children. He has never bitten or nipped at anyone. We are forced to rehome Koda only because we are taking over care of my 95yo grandma and are worried with her being a new person and his behavior issues it may pose an unnecessary risk. She is very unstable on her feet and has very thin skin we just cannot risk it. Koda needs a calm quiet home, preferably with a yard where he can run around. Someone who doesn’t have a lot of visitors.
