My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miss Daisy. The vets are estimating me to be 2 years old. I'm very sweet and looking for a forever home.

----

Foster update: Miss Daisy is a wonderful girl. She had one pee accident when she came but started relaxing later in the afternoon and played with us.

We got a doggy bed for her and put it beside our bed. she slept the whole night in the bed very peacefully.

She has an amazing personality. She sits super quiet when you are working, ready to play when you want to play, and she immediately clicked with my 6-years-old.

She does need someone to tell her rules/boundaries but immediately adapts to them and follows.

We took her to the school bus stop this morning, and she did great with elementary-age kids.

----

Foster update: Miss Daisy had a wonderful day today. She loves kids and has very good temperament with them. Daisy knows her boundaries. Since she has arrived our home, she has never tried to climb on the couch or bed. If you tell her not to go to certain part of the house like kitchen, she listens.

Today, we let her meet with one of my family member who has a very bad dog phobia and has never touched any dogs all her life; Daisy very patiently and calmly allowed her to approach and pate. After meeting Daisy, this family member decided to stay over the weekend at our house to fight her fear of dogs. Daisy helped her overcome her reservations towards the dogs and is helping her to show that how wonderful and loving dogs are to human.

We found that Daisy loves fetching ball. She played ball fetching with my kidos today and infact brought the ball back to them. She is still learning to give the ball back in the hand. Daisy will flourish in the active house and will be very good with kids. We still haven’t got chance to introduce her to other dogs but have noticed she does get excited after seeing them. She is doing wonderful with leash walking; constant redirections and her ability to get trained will make her a wonderful addition to any home.
