As we are a 100%-volunteer organization, Walter currently lives in a foster home. This is what the foster family has to say:

Walter was a stray and rescued on New Years' eve 2016. Due to his age and general condition, he would have been euthanized at the shelter. He is not difficult to care for but he is deaf, slow-moving and not a fan of dogs who come too close or too fast. On a typical day, Walter wakes up, does his bathroom business, eats breakfast, sleeps until dinner (with a short afternoon walk/bathroom break), then he takes an evening constitutional walk before dinner, has dinner, then settles in for the evening. He has typical old-man lumps and he walks with a limp from an old injury. The best thing about Walter is that he always looks happy and he makes you smile too!
