As we are a 100%-volunteer organization, Ruger currently lives in a foster home. This is what the foster family has to say: 

Ruger is a young and very friendly boy! He loves toys, balls and is content to run outside with his toys and play by himself. A self-entertaining pooch, how unusual, no? That's not true of course. As with most young dogs, Ruger will need attention, some training and lots of time with his people.

Ruger is available for adoption through Spirit Canine Rescue. We request that all adopters be within reasonable traveling distance to Burlington NC. All dogs will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption and will also be up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper/parvo and bordatella).
