As we are a 100%-volunteer organization, Eclipse currently lives in a foster home. This is what the foster family has to say:

Eclipse is one of the happiest dogs we have ever had here. It is like she always has a great big smile and a very happy tail going a million miles an hour. This is so surprising with all this girl has been through that her spirit has not been broken at all. While her spirit is strong, she does have some previous injuries to her back leg, but it doesn’t stop her, she loves to run and play all the time. She gets along with almost all male dogs, especially younger dogs, as she loves to Mother and play with them. She is OK with some female dogs, but it would be best to test them before considering adopting. While she has been around cats, she does like to give a good chase and she can be a bit clumsy knocking things over to play with them. She is fantastic with kids, but she is a big girl, so small children might get knocked over too easily. She is very well house and crate trained, has done very well with her manners training and is one smart cookie, so further training would be great for her. She really is a wonderful happy girl, with a big heart and so much love to give, you can’t go wrong with Eclipse.

We request that all adopters be within reasonable traveling distance to Burlington NC. All dogs will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption and will also be up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper/parvo and bordatella).
