My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Allie - Terrier mix, 1 year and 6 months old, 12 lbs. Allie is a sweet girl, high energy, loves to run and play in a fenced in yard. She  is quick and will dart for an open door, so her home must be prepared to manage a young, quick dog around doorways.
She can also squeeze through small openings in fences, so the fencing can have no more than 1 and a half-inch gap.  She is crate trained, up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. AN ALL ADULT HOME AND A SECURED 5ft FENCED IN YARD ARE A REQUIREMENT! Check your fencing before applying, please! We’d prefer a home with no small children!  For more information, email us : spiritcaninerescue@gmail.com or fill out an application : spiritcaninerescue.org/adopt We do homework visits prior to adoption and cannot travel more than 2 hrs from Burlington NC. 

We don’t adopt out of state! We don’t adopt to homes with invisible/electric fencing.
